Rental Contract & Terms and Conditions
1. Deposit & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. Final payment is due 7 days
before your event date. If booking is made within 7 days of the event, full payment is required at the
time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including government
restrictions, shelter-in-place, or pandemic-related cancellations. Deposits may be applied to a
rescheduled date, subject to availability.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Deposit (50%) is always non-refundable.
- Cancel 20–11 days before event → 50% of rental total charged.
- Cancel 10–1 days before event → 75% charged.
- Cancel after truck is loaded → 100% charged.
These policies ensure equipment availability and fairness as we turn away other rentals once items are
reserved.
3. Damage Waiver
Damage Waiver is mandatory and covers accidental damage or natural events. It does not cover
negligence, abuse, or lost items. Dishware, glassware, and silverware include a small breakage
allowance (up to 3 per item). Replacement costs apply for missing or excess damage.
4. Delivery & Pickup
- Delivery may occur 1–3 days before the event, at our discretion.
- Specific delivery times or late-night pickups incur additional charges.
- We cannot deliver to Airbnbs, vacation rentals, or public parks.
- Delivery trucks require safe access (26ft trucks, 13'6" clearance). Obstacles or non-compliant
obstructions are not our liability.
- Long carries: $50 per 100 ft beyond standard drop-off.
- Stairs/elevator access must be communicated in advance or additional charges will apply.
5. Equipment Care & Use
- Chairs: Stack neatly before pickup (50 per stack non-padded, 25 per stack padded). Improper
stacking → $0.25 per chair fee.
- Tables & Chairs: Setup and teardown are not included unless arranged and paid for in advance.
- Tents: Mark tent corners before delivery. No staples, tacks, or tape on tents. No cooking under or neartents. Sidewalls may not be removed.
- Linens: Return dry and free of debris. Stained/damaged linens are billed at replacement cost.
- Customer must clear setup areas of obstacles before delivery. Additional charges apply if crews must
wait or clear areas.
6. Liability & Risk
Lessee assumes responsibility for equipment from delivery until pickup. Lessee agrees to defend and
indemnify All The Things Rentals LLC, its employees, and agents against claims, damages, or injuries
related to use of the equipment. Outdoor events carry weather-related risks (wind, rain, snow, heat,
flooding). Lessee remains responsible for full payment regardless of weather conditions. Underground
utilities must be clearly marked prior to tent setup.
7. Ownership of Equipment
All equipment remains the sole property of All The Things Rentals LLC. Lessee may not sublease or
relocate equipment without written permission. Equipment is to be used only at the agreed event
location.
8. Return of Equipment
At the end of the rental period, equipment must be made available for pickup in the same condition as
delivered, reasonable wear and tear excepted. Lessee is liable for damages, losses, or theft. Damaged
or lost items are billed at replacement cost. Rental charges continue until equipment is returned or
replaced.
9. Payments & Collections
Lessee authorizes All The Things Rentals LLC to charge the payment method on file for all rental
charges, damages, and fees. Past-due balances accrue interest at 1.5% per month (minimum $5).
Lessee is responsible for all collection costs, attorney fees, and court costs in the event of
non-payment.
10. Miscellaneous
- All rentals are subject to final audit and adjustment.
- All tents may vary up to 5% in size and are not guaranteed fully waterproof.
- Lessee is responsible for providing necessary permits, licenses, and access to power where required.
- Frame tents may scratch driveways; All The Things Rentals is not responsible for such damage
