Rental Contract & Terms and Conditions

1. Deposit & Payment

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. Final payment is due 7 days

before your event date. If booking is made within 7 days of the event, full payment is required at the

time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including government restrictions, shelter-in-place, or pandemic-related cancellations. Deposits may be applied to a rescheduled date, subject to availability.

Delivery & Services

Before you complete your order, here's everything you need to know about delivery, pickup, and optional services so you can choose what works best for your event.

Delivery

Delivery is available on orders of $250 or more (before delivery fee). Your delivery fee is calculated based on distance from our Burnsville warehouse and will be shown at checkout.

We deliver, pick up, and return on the schedule you select. Standard delivery is available Monday through Friday.

Need weekend delivery or pickup? Weekend delivery and pickup (Saturday and Sunday) is available for an additional $55 per trip. This applies separately to each trip — delivery and pickup are each $55 if both occur on a weekend day.

Need it fast? Priority delivery is available as an add-on for $55, on top of your standard delivery fee. Select this if you need guaranteed early or time-specific delivery and pickup on the same day such as for a Wedding Venue.

Customer Pickup & Dropoff

Prefer to skip the delivery fee? You're welcome to pick up and return your order at our warehouse at no charge on weekdays (Monday–Friday).

Weekend warehouse pickup and dropoff is available for $25 per visit.

Setup & Teardown

Don't want to deal with setting up and breaking down equipment yourself? We offer setup and teardown services for an additional fee. Teardown is always included when you add setup.

Setup and teardown fees are per item type. If you need both chairs and tables set up, that is $75 for chairs and $75 for tables.

Not Sure What to Choose?

Here are the most common scenarios:

Weekday event, self-setup: Select standard delivery. No weekend fees, no setup fees.

Weekend event, self-setup: Select delivery + weekend delivery fee ($55) and weekend pickup fee ($55) if both trips fall on Saturday or Sunday.

Weekend event, want us to set up: Select delivery + weekend fees + setup for whichever item types you need set up.

Picking up yourself on a weekday: Select customer pickup. No charge.

Picking up yourself on a weekend: Select customer pickup. $25 per visit applies at the warehouse.

2. Cancellation Policy

- Deposit (50%) is always non-refundable.

- Cancel 20–8 days before event → 50% of rental total charged.

- Cancel 7–1 days before event → 100% charged.

- Cancel after truck is loaded → 100% charged.

These policies ensure equipment availability and fairness as we turn away other rentals once items are reserved.

3. Damage Waiver

Damage Waiver is mandatory and covers accidental damage or natural events. It does not cover negligence, abuse, or lost items.

Dishware, glassware, and silverware include a small breakage allowance (up to 3 per item).

Replacement costs apply for missing or excess damage.

4. Delivery & Pickup

to allow our employees weekends off as much as possible. We do offer Weekend Service for additional fees, If you choose a Company Delivery date or Company pickup date that is on a weekend day, there will be a fee for each day that service is required on a weekend day. There is also a fee if you choose to Have Customer Pickup or Customer Dropoff on a weekend day. If you checkout online without choosing weekend service and you have selected any days where weekend service is needed, we will inform you and then add the fees to your invoice.

- Delivery may occur 1–3 days before the event, at our discretion.

- Specific delivery times or late-night pickups incur additional charges.

- We cannot deliver to Airbnbs, vacation rentals, or public parks.

- Delivery trucks require safe access (26ft trucks, 13'6" clearance). Obstacles or non-compliant

obstructions are not our liability.

- Long carries: $50 per 100 ft beyond standard drop-off.

- Stairs/elevator access must be communicated in advance or additional charges will apply.

5. Equipment Care & Use

- Chairs: Stack neatly before pickup ( up to 50 per stack non-padded),

(up to 25 per stack padded). Improper stacking → $0.25 per chair fee.

- Tables & Chairs: Setup and teardown are not included unless arranged and paid for in advance.

- Tents: Mark tent corners before delivery. No staples, tacks, or tape on tents. No cooking under or neartents. Sidewalls may not be removed. Professional Installation may require a site visit before install date.

- Linens: Return dry and free of debris. Stained/damaged linens are billed at replacement cost.

- Customer must clear setup areas of obstacles before delivery. Additional charges apply if crews must wait or clear areas.

Dishware, Glassware & Flatware — Return Condition Policy

Renter is not required to wash dishware, glassware, or flatware prior to return; however, all items must be returned scraped or rinsed free of food debris and large food particles. Glassware must be returned free of liquids, stains, and lipstick residue. A cleaning and restocking fee of 15% of the rental total will be assessed if items are returned in a condition requiring additional labor, including but not limited to: food debris, sauces, liquids left in vessels, or excessive residue on glassware. This fee will be charged to the payment method on file.

6. Liability & Risk

Lessee assumes responsibility for equipment from delivery until pickup. Lessee agrees to defend and

indemnify All The Things Rentals LLC, its employees, and agents against claims, damages, or injuries

related to use of the equipment. Outdoor events carry weather-related risks (wind, rain, snow, heat,

flooding). Lessee remains responsible for full payment regardless of weather conditions. Underground

utilities must be clearly marked prior to tent setup.

7. Ownership of Equipment

All equipment remains the sole property of All The Things Rentals LLC. Lessee may not sublease or

relocate equipment without written permission. Equipment is to be used only at the agreed event

location.

8. Return of Equipment

At the end of the rental period, equipment must be made available for pickup in the same condition as

delivered, reasonable wear and tear excepted. Lessee is liable for damages, losses, or theft. Damaged

or lost items are billed at replacement cost. Rental charges continue until equipment is returned or

replaced.

9. Payments & Collections

Lessee authorizes All The Things Rentals LLC to charge the payment method on file for all rental

charges, damages, and fees. Past-due balances accrue interest at 1.5% per month (minimum $5).

Lessee is responsible for all collection costs, attorney fees, and court costs in the event of

non-payment.

10. Miscellaneous

- All rentals are subject to final audit and adjustment.

- All tents may vary up to 5% in size and are not guaranteed fully waterproof.

- Lessee is responsible for providing necessary permits, licenses, and access to power where required.

- Frame tents may scratch driveways; All The Things Rentals is not responsible for such damage
